Before coming up with ideas for our own film sequence, I decided to look at
a few well-known openings that have engaged me in the past and analyse them
briefly to get a sense for what they included to make me so intrigued. I tried
to vary the openings I looked at to gather a range of ideas; I chose to look at
Gladiator, Catch Me If You Can and Slumdog Millionaire as each of these film
are very different in their approaches to the opening.
