Target Audience

The target audience for our film opening would be a person who is quite similar to our character because then it will be easier for them to relate to the film and therefore enjoy it more.
As our character is a teenage girl who has quite overly exaggerated characteristics in the film I decided to research into the kind of things teenage girls like and how we can change our film opening to appeal more to our target audience.
Primary source: As teenage girls ourselves we thought about how we liked hanging out with our friends in everyday places like parks, the cinema, school playground, in town, shop, cafes, etc. The target audience may also enjoy twenty first century music  and like spending time on social media in their room. The struggles that everyday teenagers face are present in the film (such as family and school life) so having a teenage audience would be very appropriate.
